Terms of Service
The terms you are agreeing to when you buy.
This page is not written yet
A terms of service is a legal document. Inventing one would put words in your mouth that you may not be able to stand behind, so this page is deliberately empty.
Two ways to fill it
Your Wix store may already have one. Wix generates these for stores that ask, and if madmade.store has a terms page live, that text can be lifted straight across. Check madmade.store.
Or have one drawn up. You are selling made-to-order goods across borders. The returns position in particular should match whatever you settle on for the shipping page.
What it needs to cover
- Who the seller is, and where
- Prices in CAD, taxes, and when payment is taken
- That goods are made to order, and what that means for cancellation
- Delivery estimates, and that they are estimates
- Returns, faults and refunds — matching the shipping page
- Ownership of artwork, including artwork customers send you to print
- Governing law
That last one on artwork matters more than it looks: you print designs that customers send you, so who owns the result needs stating plainly.
Deliberately blank — I do not write legal text on your behalf
