Privacy Policy
What is collected, and what happens to it.
This page is not written yet
A privacy policy is a legal document. Inventing one would put words in your mouth that you may not be able to stand behind, so this page is deliberately empty.
Two ways to fill it
Your Wix store may already have one. Wix generates these for stores that ask, and if madmade.store has a privacy policy page live, that text can be lifted straight across. Check madmade.store.
Or have one drawn up. You take payments and hold customer addresses in Canada, which means PIPEDA applies. That is worth getting right rather than approximating.
What it needs to cover
- What you collect at checkout — name, address, email, payment
- Who processes payments, and that card details never touch your server
- The print partner who receives the order and the shipping address
- Analytics or marketing tools, if any
- How long records are kept, and how someone asks for theirs to be deleted
- A contact address for privacy requests
That last one on the list matters more than it looks: your print partner is a third party receiving customer addresses, and a policy has to say so.
Deliberately blank — I do not write legal text on your behalf
