1963
Two brothers, Toni and Guy Mascolo, open a salon in Clapham, south London. Hairdressing at the time is set and lacquered. They cut for movement instead, and the city notices.
The Name
TONI&GUY is not a franchise badge bolted onto a salon. It is a method, taught the same way in every academy, and it is the reason a cut done here holds its shape six weeks later.
The wall in our lounge lists the countries this training reaches. It is not decoration. It is the reason a cut done in this room follows the same method as one done in London.

The Line
1963
Two brothers, Toni and Guy Mascolo, open a salon in Clapham, south London. Hairdressing at the time is set and lacquered. They cut for movement instead, and the city notices.
1985
The first salon outside Europe opens in Dallas. The method proves it travels intact, which becomes the whole model: not branches, but trained hands.
1990
The first academy opens. Education becomes the backbone of the business, and remains the thing that separates a TONI&GUY chair from any other.
2011
The name reaches Bangalore. The training arrives with it, and so does the standard every stylist in this room is held to.
Today
Hundreds of salons across dozens of countries, one shared curriculum. Including this room, in BSK 2nd Stage.

What It Means Here

Every stylist trains and re-trains to the same curriculum. Technique is examined, not assumed.
Hair read as shape and movement, cut to grow out well rather than to look sharp for a week.
Annual collections keep the room current without chasing whatever is loud this month.
