Groundnuts, whole and unhusked. Everything in the bottle starts here, and nothing is added after.
A wooden pestle turns slowly in a wooden mortar. Wood absorbs the friction heat, so the oil is never cooked before it reaches the bottle.
What runs out is the whole seed. The cloudiness is everything a refinery would have stripped away. We let it settle, nothing more.
The fresh press stands in steel drums for days while the sediment sinks on its own. No filters, no heat, no hurry. Slow is the point.
Small batches, bottled and sold nearby. Oil is fresh produce, and we treat it that way.

He did not like the answer. In 2021 he put a wooden press in a room in Mel Krishnapura and started making his own. People from the next street started buying it. That is still most of who we sell to.
Nothing added.
Nothing taken out.
One of these is a process.
The other is a recipe.

Behind Jain International School, next to the Munieshwaran temple. The temple is the easier landmark to find first.
