Plainly
Window cleaning, done properly
Roof The parapet
He starts at the top. You come down with him.
Everything above his line has been done. Everything below it has not. Thirteen floors, one rope, and the glass gets clean as you scroll.
Thirteen floors. Scroll.
Floor 12 The study
Six months of city, gone in four minutes.
This window has not been touched since spring. He does the outside, the frame, the sill, and moves on. Four minutes a pane, and the pane is what you pay for.
- Per pane
- 4 min
- Includes
- Frame & sill
Floor 11 The library
Water so pure it dries invisible.
Filtered to zero dissolved solids and fed up the rope. No soap, no cloths, no cloth marks — because there is nothing left on the glass to dry into a smear.
- Method
- Pure water
- Reach
- Any height
- Residue
- None
Floor 10 The winter garden
Homes. Both sides of the glass.
Studios to whole houses. Half a clean is not a clean, so a second pair of hands does the inside while he is on the rope — frames, sills, runners and screens — and we move what needs moving and put it back. A typical flat takes ninety minutes, evenings and weekends at no extra cost.
- Shoes off, dust sheets down
- Our own water, no taps used
- Not one leaf touched
- Typical job
- 90 min
- Notice
- 3 days

One visit, nothing ongoing.
Floor 06 The studio
Why we are called Plainly.
Because it means two things at once and we wanted both. Clearly visible — which is the job. And plainly spoken — which is how we quote, how we price, and what we tell you when something genuinely cannot be saved.
No call-out that turns into an estimate. No hourly rate that stretches. The number we say on the phone is the number on the invoice.
Floor 05 The office
Offices and workspaces.
Before you open or after you close, so nobody has to work around us. We work nights — the glass does not care, and your staff never see a rope. Keys and alarm codes held securely, and a photo sent through when we lock up.
- Slots
- 6am & 9pm
- Nights
- Yes
- Per pane
- $8
Floor 04 The gym
On a round, not on a whim.
Most glass wants doing every four to twelve weeks. Put it on a round and you get the same crew, a fixed slot, and up to twenty per cent off the one-off price.
- The same two people every visit
- Rebooked automatically, cancel any time
- Skip a month if you are away
Floor 03 Unfinished
Cement, paint, and sticker glue.
Post-construction is a different job — blades, solvent and patience, not water. Look at the state of this one. Builders will tell you it is etched in. Usually it is not.
- Method
- Blade & solvent
- Minimum
- 1 day
Floor 02 The café
Storefronts, and where we go.
Weekly and fortnightly rounds at six in the morning, so your frontage never has a bad day. We stay inside twelve neighbourhoods on purpose — it is the only way a one-hour arrival window survives this city's traffic.
